NOVA SCOTIA.....August/September 2017

We took a lovely two week trip up through New Brunswick, Cape Breton Island, and  Nova Scotia.  We had a wonderful time.  The views were gorgeous and the people so, so friendly.

FOUR CORNERS, SANTA FE AND ALBUQUERQUE...March 2017

On our way to Santa Fe and Albuquerque we went to see Four Corners in Navaho Nation.  This is the spot where four states, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah meet.

Outside Albuquerque we visited Petroglyph National Monument where symbols are carved onto volcanic rocks by Native Americans over 700 years ago.

Visiting Santa Fe was so interesting with all the architecture.  Plus....we were at about 8,000 feet in elevation and had difficulty catching our breaths.  They had oxygen bars in town.  I was tempted to try that out.

In Albuquerque we visited a Navajo Cultural Center and saw so many amazing and interesting things.  We saw a traditional Navajo dance presentation too.
